A RENTAL CONTRACT REQUIRED PAYMENT IN FULL, PLUS SECURITY TO COVER CLEANING AND DAMAGES.THE CONTRACT IS ACCEPTED OR REJECTED BY THE CLIENT MONTHS IN ADVANCE. THE PRICE/TERMS WERE ACCEPTED AND REVIEWED BY HER SON. WHEN THE RENTAL CONTRACT EXPIRED, THE CLIENT WAS ADVISED,IF NO DAMAGES OR INVENTORY MISSING THE BALANCE AFTER CLEANING WOULD BE REFUNDED. THEY GAVE ME THE KEYS & DID NOT MENTION ANY DAMAGES. UPON INSPECTION DAMAGE WAS DISCOVERED ON TWO PATIO CHAIRS. THE SEAT CUSHIONS NEEDED REPLACEMENT AT A COST OF $106.00 & $13.64 IN ADDITIONAL FEES INCURED AS AGREED IN RENTAL CONTRACT WHICH LEFT A BALANCE REFUND OF $86.36 AND WIRED DIRECTLY TO HER ACCOUNT. THE CLIENT DENIED THE DAMAGE TO THE CHAIRS BUT RECANTED HER STORY AND FELT SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR DAMAGES. I EXPLAINED SHE RENTED THE PROPERTY THEY HAVE TEMPORARY CUSTODY AND IT'S THEIR RESPONSIBILITY WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT AS INDICATED IN ITEM #'s 17-18-20-21 AND SHOULD HAVE NOTIFIED THE LANDLORD.
